    HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

For the first jam of this new year, we're going to jump into the BUG event binders to warm up for the "In From the Cold Event" at Parkdale United Church! Beginners, you'll see how fun and easy it is to participate in our BUG road trips!

These are familiar songs chosen from our BUG repertoire because they're easy to play and are appropriate for all ages and venues. We've added a few new songs like "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "Diana", and "Bring Me Sunshine" as well as some favourites introduced at our jam in the last year.

So bundle up and come on out to the jam to warm up with great songs, friends, and food!

WHERE:  Clocktower Brew Pub, lower level, 575 Bank Street, Ottawa

    WHEN:  Wednesday, January 15

TIME: 7 to 10 p.m. But come early and join us downstairs for a delicious dinner, snack, or drinks, anytime after 5:30! Remember, The Clocktower Brew Pub offers their facilities to us at no cost so please support our wonderful home pub and our two fabulous servers by planning to purchase a beverage and/or food at every jam you attend. As a bonus, appetizers ordered before 6 p.m. are half price! Coming early will also give you the chance to meet new friends, ogle their ukuleles, and pick up some ukulele tips and tricks....

    See you soon friends!

Now there's a new Guinness Book of World Records attempt ...

The BUG Group sings and plays 90 ukulele songs nonstop.

Mike, the sun be may be up by the time we are finished so you won't need to sleep on Charles' couch. Or maybe we should all wear our pyjamas all night and have breakfast at Sue and Mark's place. Hmmmmmm.
