For beginners who just can't manage the [Ab] and [G] chords as shown - for the [G] just play the regular G chord; for the [Ab] just slide that G chord up one fret towards the body of the uke (to the 3rd fret) and strike the bottom 3 strings. But barre chords are AWESOME and important so why not give them a try?
