You can play along in GCEA tuning in the same key as the video if you put your capo on the 4th fret. Watch for the key change at the bottom of the first page!

I've also added a Downtown Parody with lyrics written by Susan Kelso-Martin of the Lanark Ukulele Group. I've included the LUG songsheet so that you can play along with Susan's video, and I've also added a BUG songsheet with Susan's lyrics which has the key change that BUGs love wink .

"Downtown" is a song composed by Tony Hatch which, as recorded by Petula Clark in 1964, became an international hit, reaching number one in Billboard Hot 100 and number two in UK Singles Chart. Hatch received the 1981 Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. "Downtown" also made Clark the first UK female artist to have a single certified as a Gold record for US sales of one million units and won a Grammy Award for "Best Rock and Roll Song" 1965.
