  • BUG Mugs - The great faces of Bytown Ukulele Group

In November 2015 we had another country music night at BUG.  It was fantastic night as usual and being November Alex decided he wanted to take a portrait picture of everyone there that night.  He took all those photos and made a fabulous collage and presented it as a gift for Mark and Sue for Christmas the following month.  The final result was fantastic so I created a photo gallery on our Photos page.  This photo has 64 of the hundreds of regular jammers and you really should take the time to check them out.  There is so much character in these faces.  If anybody asks you why you go a ukulele jam, you no longer need to say a word, just send them a link to this page and you will say at least 64,000 words.  Participating in our monthly music jam is the highlight of every month, I feel so privilidged to be among such an amazing group of people.

I'd like to start the tradition here of November Picture night. I'm sorry that so many of the regular "regulars" were missing here. Considering these were taken with an Iphone without a flash, I ended up being very pleased with the outcome. Incidentally, an 18x22" print cost be only $7.00 at Walmart. Then I added the 15 dollar frame and the whole thing costed just over $20.00. Feel free to download the high res image Mike provided above and your good to go for our November 2015 memorial picture ready to hang.
