O come all ye faithful...
Where: Clocktower Brew Pub, 575 Bank St, lower level
Time: Singing from 7 until 10 but come anytime after 5:30 for a
delicious dinner, snack, drinks and revelry!
We have 79 confirmed participants - woohoo! It'll be cosy! But we're used to that, right?! Snug as BUGs in a rug...! Phone: 613-526-4313 or email us at mrog...@cyberus.ca if you plan on attending and haven't let us know yet.
The holiday songs are fun and challenging so get in some practise if you can! Claude Lacelle has put all the songs we'll be playing in one file "BUG's DECEMBER 2011 HOLIDAY SONG SELECTIONS IN PDF" which can be found on the HOME page. We can also play other selections from "The Christmas Ukulele Songbook" and Gord Thomas's "Christmas Songbook updated December 12", as we've printed them both out for the binders.
Since there will be a big gang that night, those who are able to may wish to print out their own copy of the "BUG's DECEMBER 2011 HOLIDAY SONG SELECTIONS IN PDF" file as well as the 2 songbooks mentioned above. Everything you need is all found on the HOME page of this website!
You may also wish to bring a music stand and a small clip-on light if you have them to add to your comfort. Mark and I are bringing a long portable table for extra eating and music space and The Clocktower Pub is adding an extra server for the evening.
AND through the generosity of The Ottawa Folklore Centre, The Clocktower Brew Pub, and the Stella Luna Gelato Café, we'll also have doorprizes! Make sure you fill in a doorprize slip at the same time as you fill out your name tag!
See you soon friends! If you have any questions, give us a call.
And to those BUGs who can't be with us on the 21st - MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sue and Mark
