Hey, Thanks Sue and Mike, got it up on the cutoff date! Fantastic!

MIke, just wanted to tell you that your PDF file compressor is great, not only does it produce a much smaller file size (2.1MB to 0.716MB) but improves the iBook loading by a factor of 3+ (times faster). ! Very impressive.

To all the BUGees with iPads, PlayBooks, eTablets and other mobile devices; This PDF BUG Jam Songs file is a convenient way to carry all of your monthly BUG songs with you and save trees.

To move the PDF BUG Jam Songs file to your iPad: On your iPad using "Safari" (browser), got to http://www.bytownukulele.ca/ and tap on the "Next BUG Jam" at the top of the page. In the Song List find the PDF file "March 2012 Song List and PDF of all songs for the night" and tap to open. On the next page tap on "BUG Jam Songs March 2012 (716 KB)" and in a few moments the PDF file should download and open in a new window. Tap the upper section of the song index page, an menu bar will open, tap on the "Open in 'iBooks'" option. iBooks will then open and you should see the first page of the PDF Songs Book open. Now the PDF Songs Book will be stored in the "PDFs" section of the iBook's Library Collections.

To move the Songs Book PDF to a new folder, tap the upper section of the screen to reveal the menu bar, tap on "Library" you should see the PDF Songs Book at the top. Tap on "Edit" on the menu bar at the top. Select (Tap) the PDF Songs File, A check mark will appear on the selected title. Now tap on "Move", A pop-up menu will appear, select "New" and enter the new folder name (example: "songs"), tap "Done". Select the new folder name and the PDF Songs Book will be moved to the new folder and appear at the start of the bookshelf/list.

This may sound complicated but its not, it will take you less time than reading the "how to".

Enjoy,

Claude
